1) It's never too late to let our leaders and representatives know which alignment you prefer for our University line. We will be the ones paying for it, using it, and living with it, so we should be trying to get it in the right place. Write to METRO, your city council members, and the mayor -- early and often!
2) We are a grassroots effort with no backing at all. We are completely dependent on 'word of mouth' and email as our only means of publicity, short of any news coverage. Consider all of your friends and neighbors that may have an interest in Houston transit, and send them an email with a link to our homepage asking them to consider our arguments for Rail On Westheimer: http://www.RailOnWestheimer.org/ and ask them to send this link to others they know!
3) Lastly, the only way to join RailOnWestheimer.org is to send an email to us at railonwe@pair.com. We will always keep your information private and we will never ask you for money like that Richmond website. We merely need your email address so we know you are interested in Rail on Westheimer, and you are a member with no obligations whatsoever.
