Regional Rail Concept - Greater Houston Area
Pictured here are four regional rail lines demonstrating the kind of distances that a regional system would link. Regional rail requires dedicated right of way that is grade-separated from vehicle traffic since it travels at high speed and stops infrequently. The Westpark right of way should be reserved for regional rail, not lightrail as planned for the University Corridor.
